Governor Murphy Joins Madison Dems to Get Out the Vote

Assemblyman John McKeon, Assemblywoman Mila Jasey, Mayor Bob Conley, Governor Phil Murphy, Councilwoman Maureen Byrne and Council candidate Rachel Ehrlich. All except Governor Murphy are on the ballot on Tues. Nov. 5th.

Governor Murphy joined the Madison Democrats at the Super Saturday Get Out the Vote rally. Dozens of volunteers mobilized to fan out across Madison and remind our neighbors that their vote matters.

The Governor took a few minutes to recognize the “extraordinary leadership” in Madison. This short video clip has some of his remarks:

Governor Murphy acknowledged the positive environment in Madison, stating that “Rachel, Bob and Maureen are in this for the right reasons.” And musing that “I wish the State could run like Madison”.

The Governor reminded us all that this election is important and acknowledged all the candidates on the slate, many who joined Super Saturday to canvas. Candidates on Tueday’s ballot include: Assemblyman John McKeon and Assemblywoman Mila Jasey, Cara Parmigiani, David Timpanaro, and Cary Amaro for County Freeholder, Michael Thompson for County Surrogate and William Schievella for Sheriff.

Former Governor and State Senator Richard Codey also urged Madison to re-elect Mayor Conley to a 3rd term in this short video:

“He’s great and he’s yours. On Tuesday November 5th, Bob Conley for Mayor once again!”
