Madison has its newest Council member, as Melissa Honohan was sworn into a one-year unexpired term on the Borough Council during the Monday, Nov. 13 meeting. Melissa is serving in the remainder of the term vacated earlier this year that was temporarily filed by the appointment of John Forte.
In a quirk of the process, John Forte is temporarily off the council until he is sworn in for his full three-year term during the January 2 reorganization meeting.
Joining Melissa for the swearing in were her parents Tom and Judy Honohan.
The Madison Democrats congratulate Melissa on her election to the council and thank her for her service to Madison.
