
Four Madison Council candidates will meet in person for a debate at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 in the Hartley Dodge Memorial building courtroom at 50 Kings Road, Madison.. The event will be live-streamed as well.
Participants include Democratic Madison Borough Councilmen John Forte and Robert Landrigan, Democratic candidate Melissa Honohan, and Republican candidate Michael Martinez.
Forte, Landrigan and Martinez are in a three-way race for two, three-year seats. Honohan is running unopposed to fill the final year of former Councilwoman Debra Coen’s unexpired term through 2024.
The debate is hosted by the League of Women Voters of the Morristown Area and co-sponsored by the Madison Eagle and the Morris County branch of the NAACP.
