2022 Election Favors the Dems With Victory

While the official results of the election are still to come, the majority of votes have been tallied and show a strong outcome for Rachel Ehrlich, who was reelected for a second three-year term, and for candidate Tom Haralampoudis who will start serving his first term in January 2023.

Unofficial results show Tom Haralampoudis with 3,528 votes, Rachel Ehrlich with 3,435 votes, and Republicans Lenora Clark and Matthew Van Natten at 2,386 and 2,381 votes, respectively. The latest data is found on the Morris County Elections page.

At the election night returns party, the mood was positive, but the celebration really kicked off once polls closed and the results were tabulated. In short remarks by Mayor Conley, Council member Ehrlich and Council member-elect Haralampoudis, the themes were gratitude and unity. Republican candidates Clark and Van Natten were recognized for their willingness to serve and volunteers were thanked for their tireless efforts to raise awareness among voters of the election and urging them to vote. The theme of unity was touched on as the speakers acknowledged that we need to come together to keep Madison a great place to live, raise a family, and run a business.

The remarks closed with gratitude for Madison voters who made their voice heard by casting their votes for who they want to lead Madison forward.
