Forte and Landrigan Earn Madison Eagle Endorsement

Calling Councilmembers John Forte “uniquely suited for public service on the Borough Council” and Bob Landrigan “an independent thinker who is not afraid to go against the consensus”, the Madison Eagle issued endorsements for both in the upcoming November 7 election. Mayor Bob Conley and candidate Melissa Honohan are also on the ballot, but those seats are uncontested.

The Eagle editorial highlighted John Forte’s 19 years of experience on the Historic Preservation Commission, 15 years on the Planning Board and role as a trustee of the Hartley Dodge Foundation as essential to navigate historical preservation challenges. Also mentioned was his “uncommon knowledge of what goes into a successful town, as he insures municipalities for a living.”

In endorsing Bob Landrigan, the Eagle noted his independent thinking and praised that he “frequently asks insightful questions at meetings, contributing to the most transparent budget process of any town in the area and providing budgeting expertise.” Landrigan’s contributions to ensuring Madison is a well-run town with transparent communication earned him the endorsement.
