TO THE EDITOR: We strongly believe that every voter should be heard and every vote counts.
So we wanted to take a brief moment to thank not only those who cast their votes for us, but also each and everyone who voted in the June 8th primary.
Madison Democratic voter turnout was more than double the average for all voters in Morris County. We should all be proud of our civic engagement here in Madison.
We were also fortunate in Madison to have a Democratic primary where voters had a choice—in fact ours was the only contested race on the ballot—making the turn-out especially gratifying.
And of course there can’t be a choice without candidates, so we’d like to acknowledge and thank Tom Haralampoudis for raising his hand to run for council.
We encourage all voters to stay informed and make a plan to vote in the Nov. 2, 2021 General election, where we will be casting our votes for Governor, State Senate, State Assembly, County Commissioner, formerly Freeholder, and Borough Council.
Finally, we’d also like to extend a very special thank you to the Madison Democratic Committee and our campaign committee whose assistance, support and guidance was a tremendous help over these last few months.
We both look forward to continuing to serve our amazing community today, in 2022 and beyond.
