Madison is a town that offers much to its residents, its business community, and to its visitors. We have a beautiful downtown, with fine schools, terrific amenities, and a wonderful sense of community. This did not happen by accident. It is the result of many dedicated professionals and community volunteers working together to make Madison the great place we know today.
As a parent with children in the Madison schools, I have spent many years as a volunteer in the school system. I served on PTSO boards and chaired PTSO school events. I also served a three-year term on the Madison Board of Education and was a parent participant on the Madison Public Schools Technology Advisory Committee. Currently, I am a member of the Schools’ Anti-Racism Committee.
As a first-term member of the Madison Borough Council, I have developed a solid understanding how the borough operates, both financially as well as in a practical sense. Read Deb’s Full statement
I moved to the Madison area more than twenty years ago to attend college and never left. Madison is a community of “doers” whose fabric is woven by borough professionals and its many volunteers working together to create a vibrant community for families, artists, business owners, educators, students, athletes, and activists alike.
I am proud of my record of service to our community. I have served the last 16 years on the Downtown Development Commission (DDC) as both one of the youngest members ever appointed and now as one of the longest serving commissioners ever. During my tenure, I have served as Commission Chairman, as well as stints chairing numerous sub-committees, including the Taste of Madison, Marketing and Economic Development, Parking, Sign & Facade as well as others.
I am also a founding trustee of the Madison Main Street Foundation, a 501(c) (3) sister organization to the DDC. Read Eric’s Full statement
