Volunteer and Make a Difference in the 2020 Election

Here is a list of volunteer opportunities for campaigns up and down the ballot.

Whether you have an hour to spare or several hours a week, there’s always something you can do to help our candidates win their races this November 3rd.

Madison Borough Council, John Hoover and Bob Landrigan

Campaign volunteers will be needed throughout the fall for various activities including mailing, helping with social media outreach, and writing letters to the editor in support of our candidates and their positions. All politics is local politics, and this is a great place to start if you’ve never volunteered on a campaign before.

Morris County Commissioner (Freeholder), Cary Amaro

This year there’s one spot open on the Freeholder board. Did you know that we haven’t had a Democrat on the Freeholder board for over three decades? For information about events and volunteer opportunities, visit Cary’s website.

U.S. Congress, Mikie Sherrill

Representative Mikie Sherrill is running for re-election and after being the first Democrat elected to serve in the 11th district in decades, she needs a lot of volunteers to support her campaign. Visit Mikie’s website and see opportunities on the Mobilize page.

U.S. Senate, Cory Booker

Senator Cory Booker is up for re-election this year–he’s been one of NJ’s two Senators since 2013.  For information about events and volunteer opportunities, visit the Cory Booker website.

President/Vice President, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris

Don’t miss your shot to volunteer on the Biden/Harris campaign. Join in the many local and virtual events and trainings, or organize a phone or text bank of your own. For information about events and volunteer opportunities, visit the Joe Biden website.
